Weight Loss Journey
by Platinum News Team on 01/11/12So one January 10, 2012 I started my weight loss journey. I am hoping to lose at minimum 32 LBS by May. Keep me posted on your weight loss struggles and let's do it together. I will update my progres as I go along. Since I realized that I had only lost 2lbs since November, I have decided to cut out sugar from my diet to see if that helps. I love candy! Danggit! I'm only on day one and its like trying to quit smoking I see why people keep smoking its easier than quitting..JEESH!
Beyonce's new Baby Girl
by Platinum News Team on 01/09/12OK, so her name is Blue Ivy Carter. First, who names their baby "Blue"? I mean Ivy is generic as well but Blue Ivy like posion Ivy? I'm not to sure about that one. Then rumors tell it that she had a C-Section in order to attend the grammy's in FEB? Someone please say it's not so.

Why is it so hard for "Black Owned " Business to thrive although other compaines have not lost a beat?
by Platinum News Team on 09/24/11
My opinion would be this.......I have seen so many times where blacks don't support Black owned businesses. So if the respect is not there among one race, how can we expect the support from another? We CAN'T...They see black businesses as crabs in a bucket and laugh. If we cannot support each other no one else will. Point black, I mean point blank....LOL

Are you hate'n on my business?
by Platinum News Team on 07/29/11
Ok, so I had to write this because I see sooo many posts on FB and other online websites with people promoting their businesses and it has finally gotten on my nerve! Why is it that your friends and family believe that their business is more important than yours? I see people posting "come to my event" or support me" online all the time, but the bottom line is this.... I have a business too! I didn't see you throwing any support or business my way so why would I support you? Is that evil? So how do you handle these situations? Do you stop being their friend? Un-associated yourself or do you just ignore their events and talents as they do yours, what's your take on the situation?
I call them non-productive relationships and ignore their request!
